Privacy Policy
Last updated September 28, 2026
This policy explains what information Pixie Dust Pathfinder collects when you use pixiedustpathfinder.com, our free tools, your dashboard and our emails, what we do with it, and the choices you have. "Pixie Dust Pathfinder," "we," "us" and "our" mean Pixie Dust Pathfinder Ltd.
The short version: we collect what we need to teach your family's program and to run a small business, we use analytics and advertising tools to understand and grow that business, and we do not sell your information for money.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and password when you create an account, buy the program or redeem a gift.
- Trip and family details: the resort you chose, your trip dates, your hotel, and the answers you give during setup and in your preferences. That can include the first names and ages of the people traveling with you, their favorite Disney stories and characters, your dining, ride and activity interests, and anything you choose to write in the open-ended questions.
- Program activity: your Pixie Picks, badges, feedback answers, reminder settings, and, on some tracks, which lessons and homework you have completed.
- Free tool results: when you ask us to email you a result from a free tool (such as the Decision Toolbox, Booking Windows or the Budget Framework), we keep your email address, the resort and trip date you entered, and a summary of your result.
- Gifts: when you buy a gift, the recipient's name and email address and the delivery date you choose.
- Messages: what you send through our contact form, feedback form or partnership form, along with your name and email address.
- Payment details: entered directly into our payment providers' secure checkout. We receive a confirmation of your order, but never your full card number.
Please only enter information about other people, such as your travel party, that you have their permission to share. The open-ended questions are optional. You do not need to tell us about health, disability or dietary needs to use the program, and if you do, we use it only to shape your program.
Information collected automatically
- Usage information: the pages you visit, the buttons you click, the site that referred you, and similar activity. Our analytics provider also records sessions (how the page moved as you scrolled and clicked) so we can find what is confusing or broken. Password fields are not recorded.
- Device information: your IP address, browser type, device type and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Campaign information: if you arrive from a link with tracking tags, such as a link from a creator we partner with, we remember which one sent you, so we can credit them.
- Email activity: whether our emails were delivered, opened or clicked, and whether they bounced.
How we use your information
- To provide the program: build your lesson schedule around your trip dates, show content for your resort, personalize your News, and send your lesson emails.
- To process purchases and gifts, and to deliver gift codes on the date you choose.
- To send the emails you asked for, such as tool results and booking-window reminders, and occasional planning emails described below.
- To answer your messages and help with your account.
- To understand how the site is used, and to fix and improve it.
- To measure and improve our advertising, and to credit the creators and partners who send visitors to us.
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as keeping purchase records for tax purposes.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the companies that help us run the site, and only what each one needs. They include:
- Payments: SureCart and Stripe, to process purchases.
- Email delivery: Postmark, to send our emails and tell us whether they were delivered and opened.
- Product analytics: PostHog, to understand how the site is used, including the session recordings described above. When you are signed in, this is linked to your account so we can understand how Wayfinders use the dashboard.
- Web analytics: Google, through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
- Advertising: Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Pinterest. Their tags on our site tell them when someone visits, signs up or buys, so they can measure and target our ads. We also send Meta and Pinterest a record of sign-ups, checkout starts and purchases directly from our server, including your email address and name in hashed (scrambled) form, your IP address and browser type, and the order value for purchases.
- Hosting, security and performance: DigitalOcean (hosting), Cloudflare (content delivery and protection against attacks), and Wordfence (security).
- Fonts: Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser loads our typefaces.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some US state laws treat the advertising tools described above as "sharing" personal information or "targeted advertising." See Your choices and rights for how to opt out.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files your browser stores for a website. We and the providers above use them, along with similar browser storage, for these purposes:
- Essential: keeping you signed in, completing checkout, holding a gift code while you redeem it (for one hour), remembering your cookie choice (for one year), and protecting the site from attacks.
- Preferences: remembering things on your device, such as homework checkboxes and celebrations you have already seen.
- Analytics: PostHog and Google Analytics, to count visits and understand how the site is used.
- Attribution: a cookie of ours that remembers which creator or campaign link brought you here, for 90 days.
- Advertising: cookies set by ad platforms, such as Meta's and Pinterest's, that connect a visit to an ad you saw.
You can accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies from the banner on your first visit, and change your answer at any time with the Cookie choices link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in or check out.
Emails we send
- Program and account emails: if you bought the program, your lesson emails, welcome email, receipts, setup reminders, and prompts to pick up where you left off. You can turn off lesson emails with the Unsubscribe link in any of them, or in your preferences, and your lessons still unlock on your dashboard. The prompts to pick up where you left off have their own unsubscribe link. Receipts and account emails are always sent.
- Reminders you turn on: such as the dining and Lightning Lane booking-window reminders. Turn these off in your preferences at any time.
- Planning emails: if you asked a free tool to email you a result, a short series of follow-up planning emails. Every one has an unsubscribe link.
Children
Pixie Dust Pathfinder is for adults planning a family trip. Accounts are for people 18 and older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Parents may choose to tell us the first names and ages of children in their travel party, and we use that only to shape the family's program. If you believe a child has given us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and program information while your account exists, so you can sign in later and download your receipts, and so a returning family can start a new trip. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. If you gave us your email address through a free tool, we delete it 12 months after the last time you used one of our tools, or 12 months after the trip date you gave us, whichever is later. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described below.
Your choices and rights
- Update your details: change your trip dates, travel party and preferences from your dashboard at any time.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any planning email, or turn reminders off in your preferences.
- Access, correction and deletion: contact us to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account and information. We will confirm the request came from you before acting on it.
- Opting out of analytics and targeted advertising: choose Reject in the cookie banner, or use the Cookie choices link at the bottom of any page. Rejecting stops our analytics and advertising tags from loading in that browser, and stops us sending your sign-ups and purchases to advertising platforms from our server. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection automatically. Because your choice is saved in your browser, you will need to make it again on another device or browser, or after clearing your cookies.
- Browser controls: block or delete cookies, or use a tracker blocker.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to appeal if we decline a request. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Security
We use encrypted connections, a firewall and access controls to protect your information, and payments are handled by our payment providers rather than on our own servers. No website is perfectly secure, so please use a password you do not use anywhere else.
Where your information is stored
Pixie Dust Pathfinder is based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States. If you use the site from outside the US, your information will be transferred there.
Changes to this policy
When our practices change, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will let current Wayfinders know by email. This policy works together with our Terms of Service.
